Gainesville Regional Utilities

Gainesville Regional Utilities, located in Gainesville, Florida, recently completed the second phase of its lobby renovation. For Phase 1, completed in 2009, Total Security Solutions designed a custom Level III bullet-resistant barrier system, featuring TSS-BL 1.75 ballistic framing and horizontal sliders, seamlessly integrated with casework to create three cashier and four customer service workstations. Phase 2 included a custom bullet resistant glass enclosure for the receptionist station, as well as bulletproof aluminum doors at both the entry and exit of the lobby.
Throughout the construction of the project, it was important that the lobby remain fully functional. With TSS’ commitment to personalized, responsive service, evening and/or weekend installations are just part of the business.
