Bulletproof fiberglass is the most practical way to protect the "in-between" spaces of a ballistic barrier like countertops and walls. Bullet-resistant countertops are typically made with wood laminate, plastic laminate, or stainless steel and reinforced with ballistic fiberglass. The fiberglass is designed to delaminate when a bullet hits it, distorting and flattening the projectile and dissipating the energy.

Bulletproof fiberglass countertops are available in UL Levels 1 through 8. They are compatible with all TSS deal trays and package passers and can match existing interiors with custom finishes.

Our ballistic fiberglass falls into two main categories.

Levels 1-3 are rated to stop a specified number of shots from common handguns
Levels 4-8 are rated to stop a specified number of shots from semi-automatic rifles and hunting rifles

Since the majority of retail, financial, and healthcare gun violence happens with a handgun, Level 3 provides comprehensive protection at an accessible price point.
