Bulletproof Transaction Windows
Transaction windows are busy hubs where documents and currency are exchanged. They're also vulnerable places where criminal activity can take place. Our wide range of bullet-resistant transaction windows provide ballistic and forced entry protection for any setting.
Types of Ballistic Glass For Transaction Windows
Our transactions windows can be fortified with any of the following types of bullet-resistant security glass. Your choice will depend on desired protection level and typical daily operations.
Ballistic Glass-Clad Polycarbonate
By far our biggest seller, glass clad polycarbonate (GCP) is a top choice because it is tested to UL Level 4 standards with higher ballistic protection and hold holds up well in high traffic areas. However, it does have poor light transmission due to its thickness. It requires special care when cleaning so that you do not damage the glass.
Polycarbonate Security Glass
Polycarbonate security glass has similar light transmission and durability to GCP, and can also be coated with an abrasion-resistant layer for increased protection from solvents, weather, and UV light. It is tested to UL Level 3 ballistic protections standards.
Bullet-Resistant Acrylic
Bullet-resistant acrylic security glass is preferred for most public settings because of its appearance, superior light transmission, and ability to blend seamlessly into existing environments. It is tested up to UL Level 2 ballistic protection standards and comes in an abrasion-resistant glazing option for easy cleaning.

Frames, Accessories and Mounting
You'll have a choice of ballistic frames in stainless steel, ballistic aluminum or painted steel. Passive voice transmission is typically included; parcel passers can be integrated. All options are available in counter mount or recessed stainless steel configuration.
